Bon Secours Senior Emergency Departments are designed to treat patients, families, and caregivers with the best quality care in an environment that reduces anxiety and enhances safety. Professionals have been specially trained in geriatric medicine to understand the concerns and medical care of individuals aged 65 and older. The senior-focused emergency department offers:

- Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP)

- Bon Secours Palliative Medicine and Hospice
- Support services for caregivers
All of our hospitals are NICHE-designated (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders), which is a national nursing-led program designed to improve the care of hospitalized older adults.
