Who We Are
The Heatherwood Retirement Community offers both independent living and assisted living throughout the community, which means when a residents requires additional services, they do not need to move from their apartment.
The basic rent at Heatherwood includes one meal daily, expanded cable television, unlimited local and long distance telephone service, high speed internet service, all utilities, weekly housekeeping, regularly scheduled transportation, routine maintenance, daily social activities, and monthly wellness checks. Each apartment has a nurse call system.
When a resident at Heatherwood needs assistance with their activities of daily living, an assisted living service package is available. This package can be customized to meet the resident’s care needs and the cost can be adjusted. An assessment by a Registered Nurse at Heatherwood determines the care needs of residents.
