Halifax Home Health, a program of the Halifax Regional Health System, offers skilled nurses, therapists and other home health professionals to provide home bound patients the care and monitoring they need. Other services include home health equipment, Carelink emergency medical response devices, CareMed automated medication dispensing, and CareVital remote vital signs monitoring
Registered nurses provide nursing care and may teach you and members of your family how to provide care that will speed your recovery. Nursing care and physical, occupational and speech therapy are available for patients recovering from surgery, injury or illness.
Home health aides can provide personal care such as help with bathing, grooming, dressing and other personal needs.
