Mentoring, Children and Adolescents, Galax

At The Mount Rogers Community Services Board, mentoring provides supervision, support, and companionship for youth who can benefit from time with an appropriate adult role model.  Mentoring is offered one on one and as a group experience to address the specific needs of each youth served.  Mentors provide social skills development, assistance in integrating into community recreational activities and career education. The program offers volunteer opportunities for adults to serve as mentors.
