Who We Are
At Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services, the Crisis Intervention Team Assessment Center (CITAC) serves for individuals in a behavioral health crisis. The Center is staffed from noon to midnight seven days a week by off-duty law enforcement personnel, a peer support specialist and an emergency services clinician. It offers therapeutic treatment options while allowing on-duty law enforcement to return to their normal duties out in the community.
