Who We Are
The Office of the Attorney General supports veterans with a Legal Services Clinic to help veterans with the preparation of legal documents such as
- Powers of Attorney
- Advance Medical Directives
- Simple Wills
The clinics are offered in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services and the Virginia State Bar. This service is also available to partners of veterans.

Veteran must have a DD214 or other document supporting military service; must be a veteran or spouse/partner of a veteran; must demonstrate that income, assets and location do not have access to available attorney representation.
