Who We Are
The Lexington-Rockbridge Health Department provides services in many program areas including the permitting and inspecting of food establishments, tourist establishments, onsite sewage systems, and private wells. Environmental Health staff investigate animal bites/rabies exposures and general environmental complaints and also work to provide health education, oversight, and information in a wide variety of other programs to the community.
